The entire tree is taken down and removed, including branches and debris. Depending on the site, this may be completed through controlled felling or sectional dismantling.

When a tree is close to a house, fence, garden, driveway, powerlines or another structure, it may not be safe to fell it in one piece. In these situations, the tree is dismantled carefully from the top down. Arborists use climbing and rigging techniques to lower sections in a controlled way rather than allowing material to fall freely.
